Principle

Using the principle of infrared detection sensor method。 The humidified nitrogen with certain humidity flows on one side of the material while the dry nitrogen flows on the other side of the material with a fixed flow. The existence of humidity gradient difference leads to the diffusion of water vapor from the high wet side through the thin film to the low wet side. At the lower wet side, the permeated water vapor is carried to the infrared sensor by the flow of dry nitrogen (carrier gas).The sensor produces the corresponding electrical signal to the vapor concentration of the carrier gas. Accurately measure the electrical signal of the sensor and calculate the water vapor transmission of the sample.
